Frank Kineavy

Frank Kineavy is a disability inclusion advocate, filmmaker, and storyteller who has spent over a decade working at the intersection of policy, media, and entertainment to expand opportunity and redefine potential in Corporate America.

Born with cerebral palsy, Frank brings a rare, firsthand perspective on navigating the professional world with a disability. After graduating from Villanova University, he sent out more than fifteen job applications a day, only to sit through interviews where hiring managers openly asked, "well, what can you even do?" That experience shapes the core of his message: that people with disabilities can do everything their peers can, just differently — and that Corporate America often limits its own potential by failing to see it.

Frank began his career in journalism, writing feature stories for Rutgers Athletics before spending five years as a staff writer at DiversityInc, covering workplace trends and policy affecting people with disabilities. That reporting background led him into politics where in 2020, he served as Disability Policy Advisor to a U.S. Senate campaign in New Jersey, coordinating a statewide Disability Town Hall and shaping outreach to voters with disabilities. He went on to found Let's Be Frank LLC, helping people with disabilities build careers in sports, with partnerships including Villanova University, Octagon, and RespectAbility. Frank testified before the United States Senate Health Education Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee's hearing on "Lessons Learned from COVID-19: Highlighting Innovations, Maximizing Inclusive Practices and Overcoming Barriers to Employment for People with Disabilities" — testimony covered by national press and broadcast outlets, giving voice to the more than 25 percent of Americans living with a disability."

Frank is the co-author of the bestselling book The ChairLeader, which chronicles his journey from low man on the totem pole to trusted advisor alongside coach Chris Malleo, with a foreword by legendary Villanova basketball coach Jay Wright. He has since moved into filmmaking and playwriting, co-producing and co-writing the short film The Wheel Deal — an official selection at the 2025 SoHo International Film Festival — and adapting an original teleplay into the stage production First Aide.

Frank is no stranger to the stage: he has addressed students and professionals alike, delivered a TEDx talk on navigating college as a disabled student, and given keynotes for organizations including Procter & Gamble and the COSD Conference. Drawing on this full range of experience, Frank offers audiences a candid, hard-won perspective on leadership, resilience, and what it truly means to include everyone at the table.
