Robert is an expert in public opinion and market research and authored the last chapter in Leading Edge Marketing Research: 21st-Century Tools and Practices.
His work for clients often includes message testing and development, narrative testing and development, and horizon scanning.
Prior to Brunswick Robert was the President of StrategyOne’s (Edelman’s research firm) US operations. He began his career in political polling and consulting at Public Opinion Strategies and Fabrizio MacLaughlin.
Robert frequently writes and speaks on public opinion and political strategy. He has appeared on numerous television networks, including BBC TV, BBC Radio, C-SPAN, Fox Business News, Australian Broadcasting, Al Jazeera, and Sky News. He is a BBC contributor and frequent guest.
He writes regularly for Mensa Bulletin, Campaigns & Elections, and Research World. Robert has authored three cover stories in Mensa Bulletin.
Robert has written two novels - Lincoln 2.0 and Big Alien Movie. Lincoln 2.0 is a near-future thriller in which a team of politicos build and run an AI Abraham Lincoln for President. Big Alien Movie follows a director hired by the Pentagon to bring a mysterious film to life, grappling with the unknown.
